HPC Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Implement and support cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP) for HPC environments.
• Troubleshoot and fine-tune Linux OS for high availability and performance.
• Administer IBM LSF job scheduler and optimize job execution within the HPC environment.
• Develop and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, Shell, Perl) to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to software development methodologies such as Agile, and utilize tools like JIRA and Confluence for project management.
• Ensure robust security by managing vulnerabilities and applying security patches across a constantly evolving environment.
• Provide technical expertise on remote display technologies like ETX and monitor infrastructure performance using monitoring and alerting tools.

Key Skills (Must-Have):

• Strong RedHat skills, preferably with RH Certification.
• In-depth knowledge of HPC Infrastructure and IBM LSF job scheduling.
• Expertise in Linux OS fundamentals, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Proven experience with Cloud Technologies such as AWS and GCP.
• Advanced scripting skills (Bash, Shell, Python, Perl) to drive automation.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with remote display technologies like ETX.
• Experience with shared storage and networking technologies.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools.
