Purpose of Job: Continuous study of process to identify technical levers for improvement of quality and efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuous process defect study and improvement at plant within the R&D product parameters
• Root cause analysis for all routine defects
• New product industrialization
• Cycle time improvements to meet design specifications
• Automation and engineering process improvements

Key Performance Indicators

• Scrap reduction •Reject reduction •Metal variance •Metal yield •Improvement in addressed defects (%)

Qualification & Experience:

• Education : Post graduation in chemistry or metallurgical/ Chemical sciences
• Experience : 10-15 years of experience in R&D or technical in a similar industry
• Functional skills : Functional expertise, in-depth knowledge of battery manufacturing process and science, management experience, stakeholder management
• Behavioral skills : Leadership skills, analytical ability, problem solving & decision making
