Supply Chain Coordinator Plant

Role & responsibilities

• Load planning (Truck/ Rail Container Type decision )- Truck type ( Capacity - Payload and Volume) will be decided based on dispatch plan ( Specific SKU, quantity allocation to Location).
• Truck /Rail Container Indents to the contractual transporter , Follow up and to ensure placements at Plant and Charging Units.
• Truck requisition (TR/TO)- Purchase request and Purchase order creation/Release.
• SAP Shipment Creation/Service Entry- Exposure on SAP .
• Truck /Rail Container arrangement ; Truck quality guidelines adherence.
• Truck /Rail Container loading.
• FG FIFO Adherence (While truck loading).
• E-Way bill generation.
• Truck release.
• LR and Freight bill receipt.
• LR and Freight bill verification- Freight bill checking ,Process freight bills through SAP.
• Initiate Claim process- Coordinate with the transporters for relevant documents, LR, FIR etc.
• Coordination with cross functional teams.
• Transporter performance evaluation.
• Freight negotiation .

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate should have thorough exposure on Manufacturing logistics with expertise on

1. Truck load planning.

2. Freight negotiation.

3. Transporter management.

4. Transporter performance evaluation

5. Work experience on SAP/ SAP TM or any other Transportation planning tool.

6. Scanning of Product Knowhow of Handheld devices.

7. Experience on digitalization- Telematics (Sim Tracking) , E-Waybill tracking ,

8. Freight bill checking and processing.

9. E -way bill preparation.

10. Insurance claim related activities.

11. Good at verbal and written communication.

12. Good proficiency in Hindi, English.
