- Understanding of the editorial workflow and the ability to copy edit the content in line with the customer expectations.
- Demonstrate consistency and maintain high-quality standards throughout the editing process, meeting specified deadlines.
- Thoroughly review manuscripts, identify inconsistencies, and make corrections with the authors consensus.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to perfection.
- Ability to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and syntax, as well as make constructive suggestions and raise queries to authors.
- Contribute to team improvement in terms of quality and productivity.
- Verify facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources.
