Key skills for the job
1. Handling GST Assessment and Scrutiny Notices.
2. Assist in preparing for GST audits and assessments by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
3. Assist in drafting responses to notices & drafting appeals and petitions.
4. Liasoning with GST departments (at assessment/Commissioner Level) for making submissions & related explanations.
5. Review and analyze notices, summons, and orders issued by GST authorities, ensuring timely compliance and response.
6. Maintain and update records of litigation cases, court proceedings, and regulatory developments.
7. Assist in drafting legal opinions, review of contracts, and agreements related to indirect taxation matters.
8. Provide legal support to internal stakeholders on GST-related issues and tax disputes.
1. Chartered Accountant (CA) having exposure in GST Litigation.
2. Semi-qualified (CA inter) candidate having experience of working in GST field (Minimum 2 or more years)
3. B.com, M.com, LLB pass out candidate having experience of working in GST field (Minimum 2 or more years)
1. CA Qualification, LLB degree/ Qualification with a strong understanding of GST laws and taxation litigation.
2. Semi-qualified CA with legal acumen will be an added advantage.
3. 2-3 years of experience in tax litigation, preferably in GST-related cases.
4. Strong knowledge of GST law, rules, procedures, and compliance requirements.
5. Excellent drafting and research skills in legal and tax matters.
6. Ability to handle multiple litigation cases and work under tight deadlines.
7. Stay updated with changes in GST laws, tax policies, and relevant judicial pronouncements.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with external counsels and regulatory authorities.
