Role Overview

The FP&A Executive will support the Financial Planning & Analysis function by assisting in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. This role will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial insights are provided to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Support the FP&A Head in the development of financial models and scenario analyses to forecast financial performance.
• Help track and report variances against budget and forecasts, providing insights into business performance.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual performance and budgeted targets, identifying areas for improvement.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management to drive business decisions.

Cost Management & Performance Metrics

• Assist in the development of performance metrics and KPIs to track operational performance across departments.
• Support cost optimization initiatives by analyzing financial data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for savings.
• Monitor and report on key financial indicators, ensuring they align with business goals.

Support on Financial Projects

• Provide support in special financial projects such as mergers, acquisitions, and new business initiatives.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports for board meetings, investment committees, and other internal stakeholders.
• Assist in maintaining and improving financial systems and reporting tools to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with other departments, including Operations, Sales, and HR, to gather data for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Support the FP&A Head in working with senior leadership to provide financial insights that inform business decisions.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation for audits, ensuring that all necessary documentation and data are accurate and available.

Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial software tools (ERP systems like SAP/Oracle preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
