NPD Executive (FMCG)

Job Description for NPD Executive (FMCG):

• Product Development: Assist in the end-to-end process of developing new products, including concept creation, formulation, and commercialization.
• Specifications Management: Prepare, review, and maintain finished product and packaging specifications, ensuring alignment with quality and regulatory standards.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process checks on semi-finished and finished products, coordinating with relevant teams for compliance or resolving non-compliance.
• Artwork Proofreading: Review and approve artworks, pre-printing proofs, and packaging material control samples in collaboration with design and printing teams.
• Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and vendors for packaging material procurement, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of product development activities, including specifications, COAs, and artwork approvals, and prepare reports for analysis and evaluation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Production teams to ensure smooth execution of new product development and launches.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot manufacturing and packaging defects, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Lab Testing Coordination: Manage product testing with independent laboratories and follow up for analysis reports.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements, including labeling, barcodes, and packaging material standards.
