Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Group Head - BTL Advertising to lead and execute media planning, buying, and implementation of Below-the-Line (BTL) campaigns.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in media buying and planning, vendor management, and campaign execution.
- This role demands excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate should also be open to travel as per business requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Media Planning & Buying:
- Develop and execute media plans for new and existing clients.
- Identify and acquire the right media spaces and assets for targeted brand exposure.
- Evaluate and negotiate with media vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality placements.
- Monitor and track the effectiveness of campaigns to ensure client objectives are met.
Campaign Execution & Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of BTL campaigns, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Manage the day-to-day implementation, optimization, and performance tracking of on-ground and digital BTL campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
- Prepare and maintain campaign flowcharts, buying guidelines, budget summaries, plan implementation reports, and competitive analysis.
Strategy & Analysis:
- Develop innovative and strategic media plans to maximize brand reach and engagement.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and optimize strategies for future campaigns.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitive insights.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, suppliers, and partners.
- Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams, external agencies, and clients.
- Negotiate vendor contracts to achieve the best media placements at optimal pricing.
Client Servicing & Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and project execution.
- Provide regular campaign updates and performance reports to clients.
- Work closely with clients to understand their brand objectives and tailor media strategies accordingly.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in BTL media buying, planning, and execution.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure campaign performance and optimize accordingly.
- Proficiency in using media planning tools and software.
- Willingness to travel as required for campaign execution and client/vendor meetings.
