Android Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Android applications in Java and Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and web services into mobile applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct unit testing and ensure the application meets quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in Android development.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and ensure smooth user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members on development processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, UI/UX principles, and Material Design guidelines.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Laravel & PHP programming.
• Experience with Android tools such as Android Studio and Firebase.
• Previous experience in publishing apps to Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development.
• Understanding of mobile application performance, memory, and network optimization.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Google Play Store submission process and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
