Senior UI/UX Designer Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user experience principles, a strong eye for design, and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually compelling interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• User Research & Analysis:
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to understand user needs and pain points.
• Translate findings into actionable insights and design improvements.
• Design Development:
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms.
• Develop user interface designs that are both functional and visually appealing, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Provide design leadership and mentorship to junior designers, promoting best practices in UI/UX.
• Iteration & Improvement:
• Continuously refine designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and evolving requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain style guides, design systems, and documentation to ensure consistency across all platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in UI/UX Designing & PEGA tool. preferably in a senior role.
• Strong hands-on experience in HTML / CSS / Sass / Pega UI-Kit, Cosmos & Constellation.
• Strong understanding of DOM/DOM Manipulation / UI Architecture / Responsive design / Cross browser compatibility / User Experience design principles.
• Experience in JavaScript/React / Node / Angular frameworks.
• Familiarity with Photoshop/XD/ Sketch tools.
• Client Interaction.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
• Proven experience in creating user journeys, personas, and storyboards.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bridge the gap between design and development.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, highlighting problem-solving skills and design thinking.
