Next.js Developer (2-3 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Next.js Developer with 2 years of experience in building robust and scalable applications. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in modern JavaScript frameworks, front-end technologies, and have hands-on experience with Next.js and React. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize high-quality web applications.

Responsibilities :

1. Design, develop, and deploy web applications using Next.js, React, and other modern frameworks.

2. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

3. Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to create user-friendly and responsive web applications.

4. Develop and maintain reusable code components, libraries, and ensure coding standards are met.

5. Integrate APIs and work with backend developers to implement application functionalities.

6. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices.

7. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications as needed.

8. Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Next.js, React, and front-end development.

Requirements :

1. 2+ years of professional experience in web development, specifically with JavaScript, Next.js, and React.

2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

3. Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js.

4. Proficient in state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or similar.

5. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration.

6. Experience with CSS pre-processors like Sass or styled-components.

7. Familiarity with front-end build tools and module bundlers like Webpack, Babel, and Vite.

8. Good understanding of Git and version control.

9. Familiarity with SEO best practices and web accessibility.

10. Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies, such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.

11. Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborating in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. Experience with TypeScript.

2. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.

4. Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, JWT) and security practices.

5. Experience working with CMS systems (e.g., Contentful, Strapi) and headless CMS integrations.
