What You ll Be Doing:
Job Description:
Evolent Health is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst of Health Care to be a key member of the technology team. This individual will play a critical role in executing Evolent Health s mission by managing data-driven activities related to data profiling, data discovery and analysis, requirements definition, testing and continuous improvement of data collection, mapping, analysis and transformation processes.
Responsibilities
Analyze and validate the data content of files to be ingested. Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the data ingestion process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business needs. Develop and implement data validation and quality control processes. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies. Create and maintain documentation related to data analysis and ingestion processes. Generate reports and provide insights based on data analysis. Lead and mentor junior data analysts. Assist in the development and maintenance of data management systems. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in data analysis and management processes.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Health Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and data management. Proficiency in SAS and SQL data analysis Strong understanding of healthcare data and healthcare payer systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven experience in leading data-related projects and mentoring junior analysts. Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA). Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience in project management and leading data-related projects.
Mandatory Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
