Lead Software Engineer - Davinci Configuration & Development (10-13 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with a strong foundation in embedded systems engineering.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Davinci Configuration and Development, EB tresos, Cybersecurity, Secure Bootloader, Basic Software (BSW), Diagnostics Stack, and Communication Stack.

This role will be crucial in the development of automotive industry solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and guide a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of embedded software solutions.

- Configure and develop system software using Davinci Configurator and Davinci Developer for AUTOSAR-based ECU development.

- Design, develop, and implement cybersecurity protocols, secure bootloader mechanisms, and cryptographic technologies within the embedded systems.

- Utilize EB tresos to configure and customize AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules, including ECU hardware and software configuration.

- Develop and integrate BSW components, including the ECU Abstraction Layer (ECU-AL), Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL), Communication Services.

- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g, hardware, system engineering, testing) to ensure successful project delivery.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in embedded systems technology and industry best practices.

- Troubleshoot and debug software issues effectively.

- Document and maintain all software development activities.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems software development.

- Proven expertise in Davinci Configuration and Development, EB tresos, and AUTOSAR.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, secure bootloader design, and cryptographic technologies.

- In-depth knowledge of BSW modules, including ECU-AL, MCAL, Communication Services, Diagnostics Stack.

- Experience with communication protocols (e.g, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).

- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g, Git).

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Knowledge of automotive domain-specific standards (e.g, ISO 26262).

- Experience with tools like Vector CANalyzer, Lauterbach Trace32
