Key Responsibilities:

  2. Team Coordination: Supervising and coordinating activities of operational teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
  3. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, ensuring supplies are ordered in a timely manner, and managing stock efficiently.
  4. Reporting & Analysis: Compiling and analyzing operational data to provide reports on performance, productivity, and areas for improvement.
  5. Logistics Management: Overseeing the logistics of operations, including scheduling, transportation, and delivery of products or services.
  6. Quality Control: Ensuring that products or services meet quality standards by conducting inspections or audits and managing customer satisfaction.
  7. Problem-Solving: Quickly resolving operational challenges and bottlenecks that may arise during the execution of tasks.
  8. Compliance & Regulation: Ensuring that operations comply with internal policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
  9. Budgeting & Cost Control: Managing operational budgets, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-effective strategies to maintain profitability.
  10. Customer Relationship Management: Handling customer issues or feedback and ensuring that services or products meet their expectations.

Skills Required:

  • Leadership: Ability to manage teams and projects effectively, motivating and guiding team members.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and suggest solutions for improvement.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions in real-time.
  • Knowledge of Operations Tools: Familiarity with software or systems used for logistics, project management, inventory tracking, or enterprise resource planning (ERP).
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring tasks are carried out with precision and minimizing errors in the operational process.

Types of Tasks They May Handle:

  • Scheduling and Planning: Ensuring all operations run on schedule, from staff shifts to production timelines.
  • Employee Supervision: Overseeing the work of operational staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards and goals.
  • Supplier & Vendor Management: Communicating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Budget Oversight: Keeping track of operational costs and ensuring the department works within budget.
  • Customer Service: Addressing customer complaints or feedback to improve the quality of service and satisfaction.

Skills & Tools:

  • ERP Software: Familiarity with software like SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Excel: Proficiency in spreadsheet management and data analysis.

CRM Software: Managing relationships with customers using platforms like Salesforce.
