Senior Network Security Analyst - Zscaler Proxy Implementation (10-12 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Deploy and implement Zscaler proxy solutions for secure network access and traffic management.

- Configure and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) for secure internet and private network traffic routing.

- Conduct traffic analysis and ensure that Zscaler policies are properly implemented to protect against data breaches, malware, and other cyber threats.

- Collaborate with network teams to integrate Zscaler security solutions into existing network infrastructure and improve overall network security posture.

- Monitor and troubleshoot network security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and implement corrective actions.

- Regularly review and update security policies and procedures for Zscaler proxy deployment, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.

- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for enhancing network security through proxy solutions and other security tools.

- Manage the Zscaler cloud platform and maintain configuration, documentation, and logs for all deployments.

- Perform security audits and prepare reports on the effectiveness of deployed Zscaler solutions.

- Provide support and training to other teams on Zscaler platform usage, best practices, and troubleshooting.

- Collaborate with security engineers, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Zscaler solutions across the enterprise.

- Stay up to date with the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and advancements in network security and Zscaler product offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in network security with a focus on proxy implementation and deployment.

- Strong expertise with Zscaler (specifically ZIA and ZPA) and its configuration, management, and troubleshooting.

- Solid understanding of network security protocols (e., SSL/TLS, IPsec, VPN, DNS, etc.) and how they relate to proxy solutions.

- Experience with traffic filtering, URL filtering, and application-layer security using Zscaler.

- Knowledge of cloud security solutions, including secure access and threat protection strategies.

- Hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.

- Ability to perform network traffic analysis, security assessments, and audits to ensure optimal performance and security.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts (e., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, BGP, etc.)

- Experience with network monitoring tools and log management platforms.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network security issues in real-time.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate security risks and mitigation strategies effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Zscaler Certification (e., ZIA/ZPA certification).

- Familiarity with other network security solutions such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, etc.

- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration of network security solutions within cloud infrastructures.

- Knowledge of SIEM tools (e., Splunk, LogRhythm) and integration with network security solutions.

- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust security models
