QC Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Check Manager to oversee the quality control processes for our furniture manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and leading a team of quality inspectors, ensuring all furniture products meet customer expectations and industry standards. This role will also involve developing, implementing, and maintaining effective quality management systems to ensure continuous improvement in production quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control Oversight:

• Lead and manage the quality control team to ensure all furniture products meet company and industry quality standards.
• Develop and enforce quality inspection procedures and protocols at all stages of production, from raw material selection to finished goods.
• Conduct regular inspections of products, materials, and production processes to identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformance.
• Ensure all furniture products are tested for durability, safety, and performance as per company specifications.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and train quality control inspectors to ensure consistent and accurate inspections are carried out.
• Coordinate and communicate with other departments (e.g., production, design, and logistics) to resolve quality issues and ensure timely production.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the quality control team.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions taken.
• Prepare regular quality reports for management, highlighting key quality issues, trends, and improvements.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) based on quality audits and defect reports.

Supplier and Material Quality Management:

• Monitor the quality of incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet specifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure that all incoming products are compliant with company standards.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure that all quality management processes comply with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new regulations, and best practices related to furniture quality control.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving product quality through innovative techniques, tools, or technologies.
