Eventus Security - Senior Security Engineer (4-6 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in server, data center, and endpoint security, with a specialized focus on Trend Micro products. This role requires a proactive individual capable of providing L2 support, conducting product demonstrations, managing critical security infrastructure, and handling security incidents. The Senior Security Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and security of our organization's IT environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide advanced L2 support for server security, data center security, and endpoint (AV) security.

- Implement, configure, and manage Trend Micro security solutions, including Apex One, Deep Security, Email Security, Web Security, EDR/MXDR, and Trend Micro Vision One.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues related to Trend Micro products.

- Leverage at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Trend Micro products.

- Conduct product demonstrations and travel for onsite Proof of Concept (POC) / Proof of Value (POV) engagements.

- Stay updated with the latest Trend Micro product updates and security best practices.

- Support and maintain critical security infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Handle security escalations and provide timely resolutions.

- Manage security incidents, including malware outbreaks, and collaborate with the Incident Response (IR) team.

- Perform security incident analysis.

- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, procedures, and incident responses.

- Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports to stakeholders.

- Self-driven with a sense of responsibility and initiative.

- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to all stakeholders regarding POCs, implementations, and security activities.

- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on security operations and incidents.

- Adhere to security policies and compliance requirements.

- Commit to continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of evolving security threats and technologies.

- Proactively research and evaluate new security tools and techniques.

- Maintain a high level of technical expertise.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in security engineering.

- Minimum 2 years of experience with Trend Micro products (Apex One, Deep Security, Email Security, Web Security, EDR/MXDR, Trend Micro Vision One).

- Strong understanding of server, data center, and endpoint security principles.

- Experience with incident response and malware analysis.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to travel for POCs.

- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP).

- Experience with other security tools and technologies.

- Experience with other EDR/XDR platforms.
