Job Description : Security Analyst L2

Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Security Analyst L2 to join its world class team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today's most exciting technologies. As Security Analyst L2 - you will be responsible Security Operation Center and analyzing the logs of all related information security appliance at Bloom Energy. The ideal candidate is a deep security-focused technologist with proven track record of supporting globally distributed large scalable networks, analyzing, designing and implementing security best practices.

Role and Responsibilities :

- Knowledge of SIEM, ePO, XDR and McAFee end points

- Prepare reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by the breaches

- Ensuring endpoints and networks are free of breaches by proactively analyzing the logs from critical devices.

- Develop security standards and best practices for Bloom Energy

- Research the latest information technology (IT) security trends and report breaches alerted by vendors

- Support compliance requirements and related efforts

- Ensures authorized access by investigating improper access; revoking access; reporting violations; monitoring information requests by new programming; recommending improvements.

- Review the tickets/escalations from L1, Analysts.

- SOC Team Shift Roster Management & Keep Security Operation Centre running 24x7.

- Implementing the Automation scope to reduce load from team & process normalization

- Documentation, building playbooks & review.

- Task & role assignment for team on the security tools based on capabilities.

- Proficient in using SCRUM, JIRA and Confluence tools

Skills and Experience :

- SCRUM, Jira, Confluence

- Experience in SPLUNK, Cortex XDR, SOAR Automation

- Basic AWS Security, CNAP

- Experience in Proofpoint, McAfee

- Experience in Threat Intel

- Experience in Tenable Nessus, SkyHigh, Zscaler, Palo Alto

- Reporting & ReviewPublic/Private Key Certificate Infrastructure

- Windows, Linux, MAC

- Encryption methodologies

- Experience in cloud architecture and security aspects

- Experience in leading SOX,ISO,NERC audit and compliance requirements

Educational Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Information Science, Computer Science, etc. Master's degree is a plus.

- 4+ years Information Security experience in a diverse range of technology environment

- Good knowledge of networking topologies and technologies, including firewalling, routing and switching,

- Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX)

- Solid understanding of current cyber-attack tactics/techniques and mitigation solutions.
