Statistical Modeling/Linear Regression Role (Immediate joiners)

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end monitoring, testing, quantitative analysis and review governance for regression-based models including factor models

• Core responsibilities include gathering business requirements, designing and implementing solutions, configuring the analytics implementation, conducting quality assurance testing, and delivering comprehensive reports
• Also covers performing conceptual soundness checks & assessment of assumptions, limitations, and model framework
• Work closely with Business & Functional teams to understand analytics requirements and translate them into practical solutions
• Play a key role in delivering data-driven insights to leadership by leveraging the analytical tools and techniques.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to validate the accuracy and reliability of input data
• Pivotal to have knowledge and experience of Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Statistics, Statistical Tests & Distributions.
• In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning, Programming Languages like Python, R
• Experience in Data Analysis, Data Preparation & Model building
• Prepare coherent and comprehensive documentation reports.
• Lead and mentor team of Analysts
• Support model owners on model findings and related queries

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree or higher in statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.

• Deep Understanding of Statistics, Statistical Tests, Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, & related Tools & techniques

• At least 3 -8 years of experience in regression analysis and modelling

• Proficient in programming languages, such as Python, R or MATLAB and data analysis tools, such as SQL, Excel, or Tableau

• Certifications or courses in Statistics from premier institutions like ISI would be a plus

• Good collaboration and communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills to be able to structure the right analytical solutions

• Strong sense of teamwork, ownership, and accountability

• Analytical and conceptual thinking • Project management and leadership qualities
