Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform performance and integration testing for a new flow connecting the internal system to two OMS systems.
- Understand and learn business processes quickly to test the business flow effectively.
- Utilize and learn the existing performance testing tools within the team to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with development and QA sub-teams to test and validate integration with upstream and downstream systems.
- Conduct thorough FIX protocol testing to ensure smooth communication between systems.
- Provide detailed test reports and feedback to the development team to facilitate quick issue resolution.
- Experience with performance testing and integration testing, especially in trading platforms or similar environments.
- Knowledge of the FIX protocol and experience testing FIX-based systems.
- Ability to learn new business concepts and tools quickly to effectively test the systems performance.
- Familiarity with OMS systems and financial trading flows is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to identify system performance bottlenecks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with development and QA teams.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with trading platforms.
- Experience in financial services or investment banking domains.
