Job Description
The candidate will be part of our Engineering RD team and will be part of the team that is developing the next generation Friction Welding and Test Rigs. Strong knowledge of engineering design principles is essential for this profile.
Skills
- In-depth understanding of mechanical design fundamentals
- Have strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
- Prior, hands-on experience in Machine Design, preferably in Special Purpose Machines(SPM) is essential.
- GDT awareness, capability to perform calculations and a strong problem-solving attitude is essential.
- Ability to work independently on designing systems/sub-systems and interpret Finite Element Analysis results
- Need to analyse technical papers and standards(e.g:- EN14363, UIC518, US CFR49) and draw up designs that are compliant to them
- Good time management skills, while being highly motivated and proactive.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with 1+ years of experience from a prestigious University.
