Opportunity For the Estimation Engineer - Fire Industry

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual with a background in Fire Protection and Fire Detection to join our team for an open position in estimation and project related documentation. Experience in handling Government tenders and familiarity with project-related documentation would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpretation and creation of ACAD drawings related to Fire Protection, Fire Detection and Water mist systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Collaboration with the design team to develop comprehensive plans for Fire Protection, Fire Detection and Water mist projects, considering mechanical and electrical aspects.
• Conduct thorough estimations for Fire Protection, Fire Detection and Water mist projects, including material costs, labor expenses, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary equipment and materials for Water mist installations.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports, to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team throughout the implementation phase.
• Resolve any technical issues or challenges encountered during the project lifecycle in a timely and effective manner.
• Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to fire protection and Watermist systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in the design, estimation, and implementation of water mist systems for various applications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software for drafting and interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, and stakeholders.
• Experience in handling Government tenders and familiarity with tendering processes is desirable.
• Prior experience in project management and documentation would be an added advantage.
