Deputy Manager - Supply Chain Management

Main Task/Key Responsibilities:

This role demands an experienced Supply Chain professional well versed with Systems, business operations, management of large SKU spread, and management of Warehouse operations.

Responsible for the following business / functional activities for SP-India business unit:

• Inventory management; Procurement & purchase planning.
• Order Management and service level of orders placed by the Sales team.
• Manage Local & Import PO Generation, Invoicing & Dispatches.
• Manage receipts/Inward for Local and Import goods shipments.
• Warehouse operations - manage team, warehouse expenses, safety and compliance standards.
• Should have knowledge of Export Invoicing and Export standard packing.
• Maintain and manage Data, Reporting, Documentation, and Audit requirements.
• Manage Inventory trends, Inventory reconciliation (System vs Physical Inventory).
• Supplier management manage existing suppliers, negotiate on price & supply terms, appointment of new suppliers as per business requirement.
• Develop and suggest pricing strategies and product policies including product mix.
• Work closely with Sales/ Marketing/ Finance/ other cross-functional teams.
• Manage product-related support, feedback and inquiries from business teams.

Knowledge/Experience :

• Prior experience of Supply chain and logistics is a must.
• Knowledge of Optical business will be an added advantage.
• To have good verbal & written communication.
• Should have excellent presentation skills and advanced knowledge in excel.
• Should have a good understanding of basic commercials, marketing and supply chain.

Industry Experience:

One or more of the following:

• Optical/Eye care.
• Medical devices.
• Healthcare.
• FMCG/FMCD/Retail.

Education / Qualification / Certification :

Graduate/Post graduate

Specialization in SCM / Logistics/ Operations

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel

Language :

Proficiency in English, Hindi and local language

Multilingual will be preferred.
