Implementation Engineer , GroupM Nexus Global Team, India
Role Overview : We are looking for an experienced and skilled Sr. Data Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in driving data-based decision-making across our client. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Google Analytics, server-side integration, and tag implementation techniques. This role is essential for providing technical expertise and actionable insights to support both the analytics team and marketing efforts. Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Big Query along with the ability to design measurement plans and implement tracking solutions, is a must.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed audits of website setups, including data Layers , Media Pixels, and tag implementation strategies, to identify areas for improvement.
Present audit findings to stakeholders, highlighting gaps and recommending actionable improvements to enhance data tracking and collection.
Develop and implement comprehensive tagging strategies using Google Tag Manager to accurately capture user interactions and campaign performance.
Design and build measurement plans for websites and apps, including Data Layer codes, data collection strategies, KPIs, and tracking requirements.
Write JavaScript code to track user interaction data
Configure and integrate media pixels for social, search, and programmatic platforms to enable effective campaign tracking and attribution.
Implement and manage GA4 for both web and app platforms, ensuring smooth integration with other relevant channels.
Regularly audit GA4 configurations to ensure data accuracy, privacy compliance, and alignment with business goals.
Use in-depth knowledge of the GA4 data schema to analyze and interpret complex data sets from web and app implementations.
Leverage BigQuery exports from GA4 to create insightful dashboards that visualize data trends, patterns, and campaign performance for stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in GA4, incorporating innovative methodologies into tracking processes.
Communicate insights and findings clearly to stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
Not afraid to ask questions or seek clarity, while being confident in providing thoughtful answers
Be part of client call if required and help team to explain technical stuff to client
Collaborate with media, client, and analytics teams to align data collection strategies with business goals.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, MCA, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in Google Analytics implementation and data analysis.
Strong knowledge of client-side and server-side integration techniques.
Expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and related solutions.
Proven experience with read and build JavaScript code to track various user interaction
Proficiency in building dashboards using Looker Studio.
Knowledge of BigQuery and the ability to write SQL queries.
Familiarity with app analytics tools like Firebase, Adjust, or AppsFlyer .
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive mindset for identifying growth opportunities and process improvements.
