About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Risk Manager to join our team.
- As a Financial Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in assessing, monitoring, and mitigating financial risks across the organization.
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing potential losses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize financial risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses.
- Monitor key risk indicators and early warning signals.
- Review and update risk management policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including Basel III, IFRS 9, and local regulations.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and their impact on the organization.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and internal audit teams.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including risk reports and regulatory filings.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Lead and manage risk-related projects, such as implementing new risk management systems or processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and regulatory authorities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Required Skills and Experience:
Education:
- Master's degree from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in banking, with a strong focus on risk management.
- Proven track record in risk management, project implementation, and business analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and data analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment techniques.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk management standards.
- Experience with risk management systems and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
