Job title: Associate SAP FICO Consultant

About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. You will work closely with business stakeholders to streamline financial processes, enhance SAP FICO system performance, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP FICO Implementation & Configuration: Lead and support the implementation of the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including system design, configuration, and integration with other modules (e.g., MM, SD, HCM).
• Business Process Mapping & Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business users to understand their financial processes, gather business requirements, and map them to SAP FICO functionality.
• Customization & Configuration: Configure SAP FICO modules based on client requirements, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and more.
• Integration & Testing: Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules and third-party systems. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system functions correctly.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO issues, addressing system errors, improving processes, and optimizing SAP system performance.
• Reporting & Analysis: Develop financial reports and perform data analysis using SAP FICO tools (e.g., Report Painter, FIORI, and SAP BW). Provide insights to enhance decision-making processes.
• User Training & Documentation: Conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP FICO functionalities. Prepare training materials and user documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimizations to improve financial processes, reporting, and system efficiency.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with technical teams, business analysts, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment with business goals.

Competencies:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) consulting and implementation.
• Knowledge of finance-related tools and technologies like SAP BW or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules, including configuration and customization.
• Experience with integration of FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, HR) is a plus.
• Experience in SAP FICO-related project management or Agile methodologies. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
