Our school is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Admission Officer to join our admissions team. As an Admission Officer, you will play a vital role in attracting, evaluating, and enrolling qualified students who align with our schools mission and values.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for prospective students and their families. Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and guardians, providing accurate information about our schools programs, admission requirements, and application procedures. Conduct interviews, assessments, and evaluations of prospective students to assess their suitability for admission. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to review and evaluate applications,
considering academic performance, extracurricular involvement, personal statements, and recommendation letters. Participate in recruitment events, including open houses, school fairs, and information sessions, both on and off-campus, to attract prospective students and promote our institution. Build and maintain strong relationships with feeder schools, educational consultants, and other stakeholders to enhance the schools visibility and attract qualified candidates. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and changes in admission policies and procedures. Prepare reports and maintain accurate records related to admissions, including applicant data, acceptance rates, and enrollment statistics. Assist in the orientation and onboarding of new students and their families.
Qualifications: A bachelors degree in any stream or a related field. A masters degree is preferred. Previous experience in admissions, student recruitment, or a related field is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse individuals and groups. Familiarity with educational systems, admission requirements, and enrollment procedures. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service to prospective students and their families. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment events and admissions-related activities.
