Senior Data Specialist

About this opportunity:
The Senior Data Specialist will play a critical role in managing, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to deliver actionable insights for the organization. This position involves data modeling, reporting, data governance, and implementing data-driven strategies to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience in leading project management.

What you will do:
1. Data Analysis and Reporting
Design and develop complex data models, dashboards, and reports MFS professional services.
Analyse structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Deliver actionable recommendations to improve and evelove the delivery processes.

2. Data Management and Governance
Oversee data management processes, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with organizational standards.
Govern the delivery processes and identify improvement areas.

3. Collaboration and Communication
Partner with cross-functional teams, including ADM, Common functionalities, operations and release management to deliver data solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert on data-related projects and mentor junior project management professionals.
Present data-driven insights to stakeholders and senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.

4. Technical Proficiency
Utilize cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for scalable data management.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence.

The skills you bring:
Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field. Master s degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a similar role.
Proficiency in excel, BI analytics, or other data analysis tools.
Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) and ETL pipelines.
Strong understanding of data governance, data warehousing concepts, and data quality frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data scenarios.
Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
