Job Description

About this opportunity:

Looking for candidate who will be Handling VAS Operations and maintaining service availability for VAS nodes with proper work focus for Alarm handling, support Hardware/software/configuration related issues, configuration of all Nodes pertaining to VAS domains and emergency handling/outage Support for VAS and IMS nodes/products/network.

What you will do:

Ensuring a smooth operation of the GSM,TCP-IP.
Be part of a team managing specific VAS Network activities associated with Mobile GSM(2G,3G,4G) Network.
Administrating VAS(SMSC,MMSC,MMSC,VMS) and Support Systems.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance.
Planned Maintenance (Health Checks, Backups etc.).
Problem Escalations and Follow-ups (CSR).
Performance Analysis & Investigation.
Interface with Customer, 3PP and Ericsson Departments.
Ensure smooth and quality system/service handover from Project.
Troubleshooting/Fault finding/RCA in configuration / hardware / software.

The skills you bring:

Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience or equivalent in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication or equivalent
Experience level 3+ years experience in of Ericsson VAS products.
Having 2+ years of experience as a System Engineer in a mobile network environment.
Knowledge of GSM, SS7, Sigtran, TCP/IP, SCCP, SCTP ,IMS and Diameter protocol.
Must have Knowledge of Linux, OS- (Linux, Solaris), IP basics, PCRF, SMSC, and Provisioning system
