Analytics Engineer

About this opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a strong foundation in SAP HANA and BODS, along with proficiency in Snowflake. This role will be integral to our data engineering initiatives,providing solutions that support business intelligence,data management and advanced analytics.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations, focusing on SAP HANA and BODS.
• Leverage Snowflake for data warehousing solutions, ensuring data quality, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives and ensure data availability and reliability.
• Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, facilitating seamless data flow between systems.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and best practices.

The skills you bring:

• SAP HANA: Strong expertise in data modeling, development, and administration.
• BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services): In-depth knowledge of ETL processes and integration capabilities.
• Snowflake: Proficiency in data warehousing, data management, and analytics within Snowflake environments.
• AWS: Experience with AWS services, particularly in the context of data engineering (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue).
• Python: Knowledge of Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting.
• PySpark: Familiarity with PySpark for distributed data processing on large datasets.
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 + years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on SAP HANA, BODS, and Snowflake.
• Proven track record of handling large datasets and implementing scalable data solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication skills for clear technical documentation and team collaboration.
