About this opportunity
The Portfolio Operations Manager s main responsibility is to proactively support the goal of Portfolio Operations unit to reach both short term and long-term strategic investment targets and results of SA BOS Portfolio.
What you will do
Support and review investment allocations in products/solutions based on P&L input received from Head of BOS Portfolio and Head of Portfolio Operations!
Support Head of Portfolio operations prepare forecast directive input in collaboration with other units in SA BOS and product domain heads. Support Strategic planning activities as required!
Support and coordinate with finance controller and provide inputs related to investment allocations. Review monthly period end closing reports and consistency to directives and forecasted run rate and support corrective actions when needed.
Tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with respect to roadmap predictability, exposure time of roadmap etc for each product/solution in SA BOS Portfolio
Analyse and propose cost saving initiatives/cost efficiencies to improve return on investments and ensure financial targets are met. Govern meetings to supervise 3PP License cost investments
Supervise Efficiency and Quality of product delivery and strive for improvements and cost efficiency
Review roadmap features, delivery status of product releases and assess risks in roadmap commitment
Review assignment of Business Value per release
Supervise and handle incoming change requests and impact on investments.
You will bring
Master or Bachelor degree in software engineering, computer science or similar.
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to interact with people at all levels.
2. Sound understanding of Portfolio s vision, business objectives, products, solutions and services.
3. Understand the processes within product management framework, strong financial knowledge in particular project budgeting, Project Management Competences, MRD workflow
4. Familiar with usage tools like FPT, PPC, Jira,3DX, Power BI and OSS,BSS domain knowledge
5. Customer focused, E2E focus, sees the big picture, can get things done no matter what, with agility and speed
6. Self-motivated, with positive attitude and drive to solve problems and expand knowledge.
