Job Summary
The Sales Compensation Senior Analyst implements and maintains sales compensation programs and systems globally.
Responsibilities
Sales Compensation Administration
  • Partner with GTM team to lead the comp plan design and implementation as well as handle day to-day operations
  • Oversee the audit of compensation calculations and analysis. Advise sales management on best practices and emerging trends in sales compensation
  • Suggest innovative methods to streamline and automate the payout calculation process, ensuring alignment with plan document requirements and compliance standards
  • Validates monthly/quarterly sales compensation payments and exception handling

Reporting/Analytics
  • Generates regular operational reports to drive business insights regarding program effectiveness
  • Performs ad hoc modeling and analyses to address complex, open ended issues/questions

Sales Ops Support
  • Supports sales organization in all compensation related matters
  • Investigates issue escalations and provides response to sales teams on inquiries as requested , ensuring issue and error resolution

Program Support / Implementation
  • Partners with team members and other internal departments (HR, finance, IT, etc.) to ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Identifies ways to streamline/automate existing and new processes
  • Participates in the communication and roll-out of sales incentive programs
  • Makes recommendations to improve sales compensation and associated programs (e.g., contests, special incentives)
Qualifications
  • 5+ years development experience preferred in ICM tools (Anaplan, Xactly Incent or relevant experience)
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of sales incentive compensation concepts and hands on implementation experience
