Overview Designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. Conducting tests before product launches to ensure the application/software runs smoothly and meets client needs Monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards Direct: 0 Indirect: 0 The key accountabilities for this role are, but not limited to. Apply different types of testing methodologies to ensure application work efficiently. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Participation and involvement in all Agile ceremonies Ensure that the Agile team delivers working software of sufficient quality to deliver to clients at the end of each development sprint. Provide risk assessments for all quality issues Specific responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java. Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to ensure scalability and reusability. Perform automation of functional, regression, and smoke tests to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Work with development teams to define test automation requirements and ensure integration into the development process. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to ensure continuous testing and feedback. Set up, configure, and maintain test environments and ensure smooth execution of tests within the pipeline. Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently. Estimate Test case development efforts based on complexity and feasibility Review and update automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure they align with current testing needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure quality across different stages of the software development lifecycle. Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, cases, scripts, and execution reports. Stay up to date with new automation tools and best practices to improve testing processes. Key relationships (internal /or external): Re:Sources Teams, particularly Business Improvement and IT Agile Development Teams Key competencies: Minimum experience (relevant): 5 Maximum experience (relevant): 10 Must have skills: Leading a team of at least 5 members JavaScript /Java programming experience Selenium based automation framework experience SOAP/REST API Testing experience Page Object Modeling experience GitLab or GitHub experience Experience in Code conflict resolution Experience developing test plans, test scenarios, test cases, execution of test cases, and documentation of test results as an automation tester which should include development and maintenance of automation scripts and frameworks Experience using automation testing tools Experience with Test Defect Management tools Experience with Source Control Systems Agile techniques, methodologies, and processes Automation QA methodologies and tools Writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases BDD/Cucumber Good to have skills: Integration of automation scripts with CI/CD using tools like Jenkin Knowledge of GraphQL queries Database testing Knowledge of SQL queries Attributes/behaviours Excellent verbal and written communication Logical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as a high level of creativity Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Ability to successfully identify and resolve complex problems Qualifications Only Graduates
