Job Description
- Acts as an eDiscovery subject matter expert, proficient in EDRM processes, workflows, software, and tools.
- Serves as the primary liaison with key client representatives, ensuring ownership of service delivery relationships and representing Epiqs high-quality service standards.
- Consults with clients to recommend tailored eDiscovery strategies and workflows, aiming for optimal project outcomes.
- Ensures client satisfaction through meticulous planning, coordination, monitoring, troubleshooting, and regular communication on deliverables.
- Builds strong internal relationships to enhance the client experience and collaborates effectively with global teams on engagements and initiatives.
- Demonstrates leadership and accountability by delivering project objectives on time and with high quality, while identifying opportunities for client improvement.
- Provides leadership and mentorship through team development, strategic initiatives, and effective management of project progress and client invoicing.
- Supports sales and marketing efforts as necessary and assists Client Services Associate Directors (CS ADs) and the Client Services Director (CSD) as required.
- Exhibits strong client relationship management skills, proactively managing client expectations and needs assessment.
- Takes initiative and acts decisively to overcome obstacles, making informed decisions and employing negotiation and conflict resolution skills as needed.
- Communicates effectively in diverse settings, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Develops and executes project plans, allocates resources efficiently, and meets deadlines and budgetary requirements.
- Assesses and manages risks associated with client requests or project phases, escalating issues and devising solutions as necessary.
- Bachelor s degree in law, computer science, business, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of solid experience in a similar role at a law firm, professional services firm, or bureau.
- Thorough understanding of eDiscovery frameworks (EDRM), protocols, workflows, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Relativity; experience with other platforms like Nuix Discover is advantageous.
- Relevant eDiscovery certification is a plus.
- Experience engaging with client stakeholders and senior management locally and globally.
- Occasional extended work hours may be necessary to accommodate client needs.
- Travel to domestic and/or international locations may be required on short notice.
