Lead Product Developer - Python, Django

The Lead Product Developer - Python, is responsible for hands-on development and leadership in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining Epicor products. The Lead Product Developer, serves as a mentor and guides the team.

What you will be doing:

• Mastery of senior-level duties and responsibilities.
• Expert in writing code, refactoring, and testing new and existing applications and framework components.
• Actively drive and participate in designing and reviewing core functionality, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Drive and participate in code reviews, pair programming, and code analysis.
• Work with their team to recommend solutions under accepted testing frameworks and the testing pyramid.
• Create and provide estimates of work, ensuring the timely and quality delivery of projects.
• Proactively improve coding standards and provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior developers.

What you will likely bring:

• Experience developing enterprise level backend applications in core python . Expertise in concepts like Sollid principles, OOPS, cloud, etc.
• Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and development tools.
• Experience in payments domain is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead a team to meet project deadlines.
• Customer-centric orientation and strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management concepts.

• 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
• 3+ years of specialized/industry experience.
• Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience).
