Progress Developer

We are actively seeking a proficient Progress Developer to become a part of our vibrant project team. This role offers a stimulating work setting.

The desired applicant will possess an advanced understanding of Progress OpenEdge v11.7 and adeptness in character and GUI-based programming using Progress OpenEdge ABL.

Conditions:

- Availability to operate within the EU time zone

- The role involves roughly 40% enhancements and modifications and 60% resolutions and debugging

Responsibilities

• Database application development and maintenance using Progress OpenEdge RDBMS 11.7
• Character-based and GUI-based application creation and upkeep utilizing Progress OpenEdge ABL
• Deployment of Windows client applications via Microsoft AVD ThinApp and Intune
• Contribution to server-side platforms, mainly Red Hat Linux versions 7.5 to 7.8
• System integration using Service Oriented Architecture with tools like Sonic ESB and Dell Boomi

Requirements

• 3+ years of involvement with Progress OpenEdge 11.7 and Progress OpenEdge ABL
• Competency in character UI and GUI development
• Background in OS-level platforms including Microsoft AVD ThinApp and Red Hat Linux
• Skills in automated deployment using Intune and expertise in security protocols
• Familiarity with integration using Service Oriented Architecture, Sonic ESB, and Dell Boomi
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and capability to collaborate in a team setting
