Project Description

General Position Overview: This position is focused on PBI Analysis and development. The customer has various dashboards within the In Market Execution (IMEX) based on Azure Analysis Services Cubes (AAS Cubes) as a backend part. Due to budget optimization, the customer wants to replace AAS Cubes with Databricks. The main goals of this role are PBI Analysis, Data Analysis, and understanding of KPIs, pipelines, and dashboards itself. There is a development part that going to be in place as well, due to the data model, and data structure changes. You will be working collaboratively with Data Engineers and a BIA Analyst.

• 6+ years of experience is a must

Candidates Responsibilities:

• Conduct PBI (Power BI) Analysis to assess current dashboards and reports within In Market Execution (IMEX).
• Perform comprehensive Data Analysis, ensuring accuracy and relevance of data extracted from backend systems.
• Develop an understanding of KPIs and data pipelines to assess the impact and requirements for the transition.
• Participate in the replacement of Azure Analysis Services Cubes (AAS Cubes) with Databricks.
• Handle development tasks related to connection adjustments and data structure modifications during the transition process.
• Collaborate effectively with Data Engineers and Data Quality Engineers to ensure seamless integration and maintenance of data quality standards.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of PBI development with DAX experience
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modelling techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• English level required, B2 minimum
