Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant with SAP MDG expertise to join our team. This role is crucial for identifying and documenting business requirements, driving enhancements, and delivering solutions across our SAP Finance & Tax applications.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with IT Managers and Business teams to document and understand new requirements
Lead and participate in workshops to gather business requirements
Assess and model business processes, data flows, and technology to identify improvement opportunities
Translate business requirements into feasible solutions while assessing risks and business impacts
Maintain clear, updated documentation to communicate requirements and track alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure traceability of requirements from inception through testing to final solution delivery
Consult with software engineers to understand software limitations and deliver system and database design elements
Develop acceptance criteria for test scenarios and oversee testing to validate solution alignment with business needs
Define and uphold standards, methodologies, and tools for exceptional functional performance
Proactively drive continuous improvement in IT applications and manage the lifecycle of the IT portfolio

Requirements

6+ years of experience in project management within the domains of S/4 FI & MDG-Finance
Proficiency in S/4 FI, General Ledger, Master Data Setup, rule-based workflow configuration
Competency in Accounting Master Data, Controlling Master Data, Consolidation Master Data
Familiarity with Data Model Enhancement, Data Replication Framework, Business Rules Framework
Understanding of IT project management and agile delivery methodologies
Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards

Nice to have

Background in leading cross-functional teams
Experience in global deployments
Certification in SAP S/4 Hana
