Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our EPAM squad in collaboration with our elite client in the retail/e-commerce domain.

This role focuses on leveraging GenAI tooling, specifically Elitea (Alita), to accelerate the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) through the creation and optimization of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. The ideal candidate will support the development process, upskill BA teams, and drive the adoption of AI-accelerated practices within business analysis frameworks.

Responsibilities

Create and update key requirements documentation, including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Support the development of agents and prompts using GenAI tools like Elitea (Alita)
Define and recommend best practices for leveraging GenAI tooling
Conduct workshops to upskill BA teams on new GenAI tools
Collaborate with an AI coach to collect and report findings
Perform gap analysis and optimize the BA AI framework
Support software development and QA teams on BA AI-related topics
Identify high-value BA SDLC processes for AI-driven re-engineering or optimization
Interface with and present to internal and client stakeholders about processes and results
Feed required data from the project to Alita, test agents, and provide feedback
Suggest best practices and standards
Align standards with the BA Chapter Manager

Requirements

7-15 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
Proficiency in SDLC practices and methodologies
Expertise in crafting prompts and using GenAI tools such as Elitea (Alita) and DIAL
Background in designing BA templates and processes
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Competency in working independently and collaboratively to drive end-to-end success and vision
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Structured and organized approach to work

Nice to have

Experience in Retail, E-Commerce, Supply chain, or Merch
Knowledge of organizational change management and rollout processes
Expertise in establishing and enforcing BA processes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
