Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled EDI Specialist to manage the increasing workload of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in EDI mapping, implementation, and troubleshooting, along with a strong understanding of D365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) tables or Oracle Applications R12 tables. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless data exchange between trading partners and internal ERP systems while optimizing EDI workflows.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage EDI transactions, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain EDI mappings, ensuring compliance with business and trading partner requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business users, and trading partners, to enhance EDI operations.
• Ensure integration between EDI systems and D365 F&O tables or Oracle Apps R12 tables for accurate data processing.
• Support onboarding of new EDI trading partners and enhance existing EDI configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EDI errors, working proactively to improve system reliability.
• Document EDI processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Monitor EDI system performance and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BTech/ MCA or equivalent.
• 2-6 years of experience in EDI implementation, management, and support.
• Hands-on experience with EDI mapping, troubleshooting, and transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of D365 F&O table structures or Oracle Apps R12 table structures.
• Experience with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML.
• Familiarity with EDI tools such as SPS Commerce (Vantage Point), Sterling Integrator, BizTalk, or similar.
• Experience working with ERP integration (D365 F&O or Oracle Apps R12).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EDI VANs, AS2, SFTP, and API-based EDI solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL for querying ERP tables.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with EDI testing tools and best practices.
