• Driving Customer engagement & retention through activities and promotions.
• Responsible for the sales at territory level for retailers/ distributors and other stakeholders by undertaking activities to develop and expand the market and sales within that territory.
• Responsible for the sales budget, forecast and payment collection within the assigned territory
• Development and maintenance of business relationships with all stakeholders to promote brand awareness and secure profitable relationships.
• Cooperate to maintain a trustful and healthy working environment within the Marketing and Sales team
• Keep up to date about (developments in) the Enza Zaden product range and provide reliable technical advice to stakeholders in order to have our varieties successfully grown and have new varieties tested in the assigned territory.
• Collection of market and customer data and supply thereof to the market intelligence team. Monitoring of market trends (i.e. varieties) and competitor activity to identify market opportunities and threats and reporting this to the Sales Manager/Subsidiary Sales Manager
• Liasoning with the local agri department to ensure proper compliance.
• Co-ordination with cross functional teams for proper delivery of assignments.
• Attending and resolving customer complaints.
• Operational compliance like collecting and placing the indents, acknowldging the receipts of dispatched material, inventory management at distributor level.
• Optimal utilisation of allotted resources- including MDO s
