Job Summary:
Actively promotes health, safety and environmental awareness and applies technical expertise in the design, implementation and management of health, safety and environmental engineering controls within the site(s). Provides technical support cross-functionally to ensure compliance with Cummins internal requirements, applicable health, safety and environmental regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading Health & Safety: Lead health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with HSE regulations, including DISH, MPCB, PESO, and fire safety.
- HSE KPIs and A3 Initiatives: Design, develop, and implement HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and A3 initiatives, including Industry 4.0 digitalization.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct incident investigations, derive Corrective Action Requests (CAR) and Preventive Action Requests (PAR), and advise the leadership team.
- Contractor Safety and High-Risk Management: Manage contractor safety, high-risk HSE projects, and ensure effective risk management.
- HSEMS, Audits, and Trainings: Develop and maintain the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSEMS), conduct audits, and provide training to develop the HSE team.
- Fire Safety Management: Oversee fire safety management, ensure periodical compliance, and manage Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans (EPRP).
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Manage property loss prevention and business continuity planning.
- HSE CAPEX and OPEX: Handle HSE capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operational expenditures (OPEX).
