Role : SAP Fiori Consultant

Role Overview :

The SAP Fiori Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, ensuring seamless user experience and integration with backend SAP systems. The consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver customized UI solutions that enhance SAP functionalities.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP Fiori/UI5 Development :

- Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.

- Implement MVC architecture for UI development.

- Develop and extend SAP Fiori standard applications using SAP Web IDE and SAP Business Application Studio.

Customization & Enhancement :

- Modify and enhance standard Fiori applications based on business requirements.

- Perform Fiori Launchpad configuration and app integration.

- Customize SAPUI5 controls and implement Fiori design patterns.

Backend Integration :

- Develop and manage OData Services (DPC and MPC methods).

- Work with Core Data Services (CDS) and RAP (Restful Application Programming Model).

- Ensure smooth SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and Fiori app integration.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Debug and resolve SAPUI5/Fiori issues in production and development environments.

- Optimize application performance and user experience.

- Provide support for SAP Frontend Server and SAP Gateway configurations.

ABAP & Backend Development (Preferred) :

- Exposure to ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS).

- Develop backend logic for Fiori applications.

- Work with Business Suite, SAP ERP, and S/4HANA.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration and OData service development.

- Good understanding of CDS views, OData, and BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework).

- Experience with SAP Web IDE and SAP Business Application Studio.

- Exposure to ABAP and OOPS concepts is a plus.

Experience :

- 5-10 years of experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.

- Experience working with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP Gateway.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to work in an agile development environment.

Preferred Certifications :

- SAP Fiori Developer Certification.

- SAP ABAP for HANA (if applicable).
