Salon Business Manager Duties and Responsibilities

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the salon

* Oversee the work of other salon staff, such as hairstylists, Aestheticians, and nail technicians

* Ensure that the salon is clean, organized, and well-maintained

* Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones

* Manage the salon's inventory of supplies and products

* Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that arise

* Train new staff members and provide ongoing training and development for existing staff

* Monitor and manage the salon's finances, including budgeting, bookkeeping, and payroll

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products and services

* Ensure that the salon complies with all health and safety regulations

Salon Manager Requirements and Qualifications

* Proven work experience as a Salon Manager or similar role (Minimum 2-3 years)

* Excellent organizational and leadership skills

* Ability to manage a team of stylists and support staff

* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

* Knowledge of hair care products and services

* Ability to manage inventory and supplies

* Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)

* Experience in customer service or retail management

* Proficiency in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office and salon management software

* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
