Role & responsibilities

• Update and maintain website pages, ensuring content is current and accurately reflects our brand.
• Regularly update blog pages, implementing SEO best practices to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Update the support website using Adobe RoboHelp, utilizing CSS and JavaScript skills to ensure proper formatting and interactive elements.
• Identify and troubleshoot UI issues, implementing solutions to enhance user experience and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and marketing, to ensure cohesive and visually appealing web pages.
• Conduct routine site audits, performing necessary updates to plugins, themes, and the WordPress core for optimal performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in web development.
• Proficiency in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. WordPress Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins. Experience with WordPress site migrations, installations, and troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 for structuring and styling web pages.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for enhancing user interactions and dynamic content.
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks, especially Bootstrap, for responsive design and layout.
• Experience customizing CSS for web pages specifically for PDF generation, ensuring proper formatting and layout.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) is a plus for creating dynamic web applications.
• Strong debugging skills with experience using Chrome DevTools to troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, for managing source code and collaboration.
• Understanding of MySQL database management and familiarity with WordPress database structure.
• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices for improving website visibility and performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges.
• High attention to detail to ensure quality code and adherence to project specifications.
• Familiarity with website security practices and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Adobe RoboHelp is a plus for documentation and support purposes.
