Technical Project Manager

Job Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Java Project Manager with 15 years of expertise in managing large-scale, complex software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading Java development teams, driving technical solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing project progress, and ensuring that Java-based applications are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project life cycle for Java-based development projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Create and manage detailed project plans, ensuring resources, timelines, and budgets are appropriately allocated.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring the team adheres to deadlines, coding standards, and best practices.
• Foster a collaborative environment and guide development teams on technical challenges, providing mentorship and leadership.
• Facilitate communication between clients, stakeholders, and development teams.
• Monitor and track project progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and proactively resolve potential project issues.
• Ensure quality assurance processes are followed, including code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Deliver clear and concise status reports to senior management and clients.
• Provide continuous improvement recommendations for development processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in Java development with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale Java-based projects (enterprise-level systems).
• Strong understanding of Java frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and microservices.
• Expertise in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or similar.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide development teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels.
