Role Definition : Manager - Engineering - Cab Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Strong working experience in Product design, development and strong problem solving skills.
  
• Very well versed with technologies, components, systems, products and services selection for Cab systems and its components
  
• Subject Matter Expert in respective area - Defines Specs, components selection and development.
  
• Manages Engineers development, and performance management for engineering teams; motivating and developing right talent.
  
• Providing specialized engineering technical support and consulting services to Cab Systems and its components for New Product Introduction and Improving Current Product Quality.
  
• Managing high-impact, short and long duration engineering initiatives and projects; ensuring achievement of engineering plan and product quality.
  
• Maintaining product release plans and material selection plans; driving programs to on time completion, with high quality expectation and within budget.

• Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
  
• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  
• Customer/Market Focus: Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
  
• Collaborating Globally: Knowledge of effective collaboration techniques and ability to build networks with people from different countries and cultures, think and work with them to bring positive impact and flourishing business results.
  
• Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.

Qualification :

• A master s degree in Mechanical engineering or Material Science.
• 6 Sigma Black Belt Certified.

Experience :

Minimum 20 years
