Job Description

  • Experience with data analysis tools (JMP, Datapower, O+, PDF Solutions, etc.) for Vmin, Yield, Test Time, and Bin Pareto Analysis.
  • Ability to write scripts to automate and speed up data analysis in a repeated manner with different input data sets (mainly Tester STDF format) and sources.
  • Analyze test and characterization data to benchmark performance specifications.
  • Define NPI and production test plans, DoEs (Design of Experiments) for product performance study.
  • Support product sustaining activities for:
    • Yield improvement
    • Lot disposition
    • Test time reduction
    • RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) management
  • Partner with ATE, Bench, SLT, FA, Qual, and Vector Simulation Test teams for:
    • Test program definition
    • Test hardware specification
    • Vector generation guidelines
  • Knowledge of Advantest 93K & Teradyne J750 tester platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Smartest 8 versions.
  • Hands-on experience in ATE Test Program Development, Digital device testing, and debugging.
  • Test Vector plan creation with DFT (Design for Test), DV (Design Validation), SIM (Simulation), and PE (Process Engineering) teams.
  • Bring up and debug test patterns, and develop test flows.
  • Yield debug activities, including:
    • Yield report preparation on a weekly basis.
    • WS/FT Yield analysis (fetching data from data tools).
    • Unit search analysis, identifying outliers, failures, and issues.
    • Debug rejects with respective block owners.
  • Support test time reduction activities.
  • Create detailed project execution timelines/graphs/Gantt charts (mainly Post-Silicon) and update/maintain them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage communication of progress/status with stakeholders in various locations and time zones; own and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams.
  • Assess complexities and scope out the project through:
    • Design
    • Development
    • Test
    • Implementation
    • Deployment
    • Sustaining activities
  • Proactively implement process improvements to streamline product development.
  • Continuously manage risks, and when necessary, put together and evaluate mitigations and paths to success.
