The Digital Platform Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for digital client platforms, with a focus on those hosted on Azure Platform and windows platform. This includes troubleshooting issues, identifying, and fixing defects, and implementing enhancements to improve system performance. Digital Platform Support Engineer will work closely with other members of the product development teams and stakeholders across the organization to ensure that applications are running smoothly and meeting the needs of users.
Key Responsibilities
Providing technical support for a range of applications hosted on Azure, Data center including diagnosing, and troubleshooting issues, identifying, and fixing defects, and implementing enhancements
Assisting with the deployment and testing of new components and updates to the digital client platform
Collaborating with other members of the IT team and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and provide timely resolution of issues
Maintaining documentation and records of support activities and processes
Participating in On-Call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed
Key Requirements
Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field
5+ years of experience in application support or a similar technical role
Knowledge of Microsoft applications: MS Dynamics AX
Should be able to handle multi server s applications infrastructure.
Proactive application monitoring, analyzing and fixing issues that arise.
Manage application releases and hotfixes - both regular and ad-hoc.
Experience with monitoring tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of MSSQL and experience working with REST APIs and web services
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
Knowledge of cloud services like Azure AWS.
Key knowledge and experience
Very good working knowledge of Global IT infrastructures.
Strong knowledge on IIS administration, configuration.
Knowledge of handling multi servers applications and Architecture.
Knowledge of cloud platforms: Windows Azure and AWS (optional)
Knowledge of microservices
Management tools/Software: Helix.
Proficiency with OOPS concepts, C#.NET, ASP.Net, MVC, ADO.Net, Web API
Proficiency with database technology such as MSSQL.
Good understanding of fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, Angular and JavaScript
