Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Security Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for automating security services like DNS, Firewall (FW), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) into our CI/CD pipelines. You will work on enhancing security automation processes to ensure seamless integration, rapid deployment, and effective protection across our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
Security Service Automation: Automate the deployment and management of security services such as DNS, Firewall (FW), IPS, and SOAR within the CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust security practices at scale.
Integration with Pipelines: Integrate security tools and services into existing CI/CD pipelines to enhance network and application security in an automated manner.
SOAR Automation: Design, implement, and optimize automation workflows for Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) to improve incident response and reduce manual intervention.
Continuous Security Monitoring: Develop and implement continuous security monitoring solutions, automating response actions for identified threats.
Collaborative Development: Work closely with DevOps, network engineers, and security teams to align automated security processes with overall business objectives and policies.
Template and Playbook Development: Develop security service templates and automation playbooks for streamlined and repeatable security deployments across different environments.
Troubleshooting Incident Management: Provide expertise in resolving security automation issues, and work on improving response times for incidents by leveraging automation.
Documentation Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes, configurations, and security workflows. Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to promote best practices across teams.

Skillsets we are looking for:

Required Skills Qualifications:
Proven experience with security automation tools and platforms, particularly in areas like DNS, Firewall (FW), IPS, and SOAR.
Strong understanding of network security concepts, including threat prevention, detection, and response.
Expertise in automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines for automated security enforcement and management.
Strong knowledge of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) frameworks and technologies.
Familiarity with cloud security and hybrid cloud environments.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating tasks and workflows.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex security automation issues.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, or similar security certifications.
Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other security monitoring tools.
Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, ELK stack, or similar for security monitoring and analysis.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure coding principles.
